Writer-producer-star of the short films "Dixie Venus" and "Drawings," Nancy also writes plays, including her one-woman show, "7 Years I Could Have Spent In Vermont," which HBO produced for the stage.

You might have caught Nancy's funny performance as Alice the new age cat lady in the rom-com feature "Holiday Breakup," or her searing turn as the betrayed Abbey in the festival favorite "Black King Down," along with other film work. She also voices the Power Rangers monster Impostra, narrates audiobooks, and does theatre.

In 2017, Nancy was a volunteer writer for the launch of "Homeward L.A." The project pairs writers with people who have experienced homelessness for a series of indepth interviews. Monologues are created from the stories that emerge during those interviews, and they're then performed by award-winning actors at dozens of venues across Los Angeles, with proceeds going to Midnight Mission in Downtown L.A. This past year, the project raised over $100,000 to help the homeless.

Nancy saw the Gestures of Trust contest as an opportunity to combine her passion for ending homelessness with her love of film. Streetwise, where a relatively safe member of the business community takes a chance on someone less fortunate, is the result.
